WBG Java Jive and Java Crow Express - August 12, 2017

Probably the best day riding of the season. Little or no wind and sunny.

We had 2 riders on the WBG Java Jive ride and 5 on the WGB Java Crow Express. Only Edward went on and did the TCBC CTC.

Temperature average of 21C and wind shifting from the NW to N to E at 5 KPH. Humidity at 45% and dew-point at 11C.

WBG Java Jive and Java Crow Express - July 22, 2017

A moderately hot humid day with a temperature average of 26C with wind from the W at 10 KPH. Humidity at 69% and dew-point at 20C.

We had three riders for the WBG Java Jive including Peggy, David, and Edward. There were eight riders for the Java Crow Express including all the riders from the Java Jive with the addition of Jim, Anders, Joel, John, and Tim. Anders and Edward went on to do the TCBC Cruisin' The Crow ride.

WBG Java Jive and Java Crow Express - July 15, 2017

A hot and humid day with a temperature average of 27C and the wind from the WSW at 14 KPH. Humidity was 59% and dew point at 18C.

We had 5 riders for the WBG Java Jive including Marc, Richard, David, Peggy, and Edward. For the WBG Java Crow Express we had 9 riders including all the WBG Java Jive riders joined by Jim, Peter, Tim, and Joel. Marc, David, and Edward went on and did the TCBC Crusin' The Crow ride.

An absolutely beautiful Minnesota July Summer Day! Temperature average of only 23V with the wind from the W at 14 KPH. Humidity at 37% and dew-point at 11C.

We had 5 riders on the WBG Java Jive including Richard, Dave, Marc, Tyler, and Edward. For the WBG Java Crow Express we had 8 riders that included Richard, Dave, Marc, Jim, Peggy, Tim, Peter, and Edward. Marc and Edward went on to do the TCBC Crusin' The Crow ride.

WBG Java Jive and Java Crow Express - July 1, 2017

A pleasantly cool Minnesota summer day! We had 3 riders on the WBG Java Jive and 5 riders on the WBG Java Crow Express. Richard, Marc, and Edward did the Java Jive and were joined by Jim and Tim on the Java Crow Express. Edward was the only rider that went on and did the TCBC Crusin' The Crow ride.

The Temperature average was 19C with wind out of the NW at 16 KPH. Humidity at 55% with a dew-point of 11C.

WBG Java Jive and Java Crow Express - June 24, 2017

A cold and windy day with a little rain thrown in! We had four riders on the WBG Java Jive including Richard, Marc, Dave, and Edward. There were five riders on the WBG Java Crow Express with all riders from the Jive joined by Jim.

There was no Cruisin' The Crow ride today so Richard, Marc, and Edward rode together out on the Luce Line on their gravel bikes. Richard and Marc did some extra Kilometers twice through the ride and we met up along the route including Ruby's Roost in Mayer and later in Hopkins on the Lake Minnetonka Trail.

WBG Java Crow Express - June 17, 2017

There were 6 riders on the WBG Java Crow Express. 3 Riders continued on to do the TCBC Crusin' The Crow ride and the others turned around.

Temperature average of 24C with the wind from the WSW at 10 KPH. Humidity at 50% and dew-point at 13C.

Congrats to Peggy for making it to Ruby's Roost in Mayer, Minnesota for the first time and for a statute century ride.

WBG Java Jive and Java Crow Express - June 3, 2017

A very unseasonably hot and humid day here in the Northland. We had 4 riders on the WBG Java Jive and 5 riders on the WBG Java Crow Express. None of us continued on to ride on the TCBC Crusin' The Crow ride.

Average temperature at 24C and wind from the WSW at 18 KPH. Humidity at 60% and dew-point at 16C.

WBG Java All Club Memorial Ride Express 50K

A very nice cool partially cloudy day for the TCBC Spring All Club Memorial Ride. There were five riders on the WBG Java All Club Memorial Ride Express 50K. Richard, Peggy, Marc, and Edward went on to do the All Club Ride and Jim went back.

Temperature average at 19C with wind from the WSW at 10 KPH. Humidity at 42% and dew-point at 8C.

The Minnesota Bicycling Handbook - Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota

The Minnesota Bicycling Handbook 2017 published by the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota is a great for tips on riding legally and safely.

The guide is meant to help bicyclists use Minnesota roads and trails safely and enjoyably. Although it includes information about many Minnesota traffic laws, it is not a legal document or a substitute for the Minnesota Statute 169.222 "Operation of a Bicycle."
